The University of Illinois Football Team is on a winning streak! On Wednesday, June 25, they collected over $3,500 worth of needed items to help children and adolescents at Cunningham.
With help from sponsors WIXY 100.3, Extra 99.1, Mix 94.5, and 92.5 The Chief, the team raised awareness about the needs of our kids while collecting items from our wish list.
 During the supply drive the team organized activities for kids and families from the local community including training camp exercises and a scrimmage with the team.
Coach Ron Zook also contributed to the event, visiting with members of the public and signing autographs. For the first time, the event also included an on-site "store" where cash donations could purchase needed items, sponsored by Meijer.
